1. Anti-wrinkle feet. The terrain of the field battlefield is often bumpy. At this time, if you run fast in a pair of low-top shoes, it is easy to swell your feet, and military boots can provide wrapping support for the ankles and reduce the probability of sagging feet.
2. Anti-puncture. In the wild, there may be many sharp stones on the ground, and even traps set by the enemy (Vietnamese people often buried nails on the ground during the Vietnam War), if the soles of the shoes are pierced, it will hurt the feet of the soldiers. Modern military boots generally incorporate some hard interlayer in the sole to prevent the sole from being punctured.
3. Increase kick damage. Military boots are very heavy, and most of them have protection for the soldiers in the front.
4.A habit developed over the years in the military has led veterans to wear loose-fitting pants, i.e. sweatpants and training pants. Not used to other tight pants.
