Is it ethical to wear an old military uniform (Soviet Union) for fun

My personal belief is that it is not a good idea. The army uniform, older models, were weaned by millions of Red Army/Soviet Army soldiers sacrificed their lives in battles for freedom of their Motherland. And now wearing the Army uniform is not fun, it is a sign of duty and service.
